Celebration exhibits a blue-green color and dense turf when properly maintained. Celebration has gained mass appeal in home lawns and sports field use because of its drought tolerance and excellent recovery ability.  Celebration also performs better in moderate shade conditions than other Bermudagrass varieties but is still considered a full sun grass.

It’s crucial to keep the soil underneath well-watered until the roots establish, and provide 5-6 pounds of nitrogen per thousand square feet per year.

Implementing a consistent lawn care schedule with both pre-emergent and post-emergent herbicides, along with appropriate fertilization and pest control measures, is essential for a healthy, dense lawn.

While Celebration Bermuda grass has greater shade tolerance compared to Tif varieties, it still needs over 6 hours of direct sunlight daily.
